Weap Upgrades?

I am new to the whole weapon upgrades thing. So how does this work exactly? Can you upgrade any weapon such as a sword with a new pommel and haft?

Swords, Axes, Hammers, Bows, and Staffs can all be upgraded. They each have two parts associated with them.

yes. although not all weapons have upgrades.. like wands.. but there are usually 2 upgrades per weapon. and you double click the upgrade and click on the weapon you want to upgrade. if the weapon you want to upgrade has upgrades already on it, then it will replace that upgrade.

So upgrades can be done on ANY weapon? regardless if its green, blue, purple, or a gold item? Can you override an upgrade already on the weapon with another upgrade?

Yes .

When you upgrade a a Sundering Long Sword (it already has the Sundering Hilt) with a Vampiric Sword Hilt, the Vampiric will overwrite the Sundering.

Actually, upgrades can be carried out on white, blue, purple or gold...but NOT the green items from Grenths/Sorrows
