75k...
withdrawing bid.
It never ceases to annoy me when people set b/os by picking a random time to arbitrarily double the c/o. Seems like an pretty ungrateful thing to do for the people who are bidding up the price for your shield. But I guess that's why people engage in the equally annoying habit of not bidding and putting up posts saying that they're "waiting for b/o"...
It's a vicious (and annoying) cycle.
Sell to Riven for 65k. Good luck.

Daily Bump. B/o added.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by a random time. I said i would post b/o with in 24 hours which I was 30 minutes late. Secondly It has been running for only 1 day and it reached 75k. So I'm assuming that the b/o I'm asking for isn't rediculous. Please refrain from posting non sense in my thread thx. buh bye.

LOL...BTW...your auction still hasn't reached 75k.
The drivel you edited into your last post still has not addressed the point of my comment.
You decided on your b/o by doubling your c/o. That seems like a hell of a way to decide on a b/o. It's a carefully engineered slap in the face to your bidders and it discourages people from bidding at all.
This kind of pattern will lead to empty threads with hundreds of views of good items and no bids. Actually, it has already begun. There are plenty of people posting just to say that they're waiting for the b/o. Why? Because if they raise the c/o, the b/o will be jacked up.
Do you understand? Do you want me to spell it out with Alpha-Bits for you?
Sloppy auction.
Bad for the board.
The mods should stop people from doing this.

The mods should stop people from doing this. I appologize for bumping twice in one day but I cannot refrain from letting others see the hilarity of this situation. I am currently being accused of sloppy auctioning because I decided to post a b/o at the time I said I would... give or take 30 mins... I was also referring to your last bid of 75k if you aren't blind. First off I posted that the auction will end in 24 hours... less now. Secondly is there anywhere that says that I am waiting for b/o did I say that I am not selling if you don't take b/o? I think not... please refrain from ever posting again. Can I get Captain Krompdown gagged? Your thoughts are pointless and worthless to the extent of irritating others. Thank you come again.
P.S. Once more I appologize to the other educated bidders here. If my thread gets closed
I will message each of you to negotiate a proper pricing.

Nice try. You still haven't come close to the point.
I just looked on your profile. I have to apologize for trying to have a constructive conversation with a 15 year old.
1) Calling people names and using tacky cliches like "buh bye" and "thank you come again" make you sound like a child.
2) I never said that you weren't on time with your b/o. I'm not sure why you keep harping on this point. Congrats for being prompt. I'm not sure where you're going with this one.
3) My bid for 75k was withdrawn when I saw how you're running this auction. Your c/o is 65k.
4) I never said anything about whether or not I thought you b/o was reasonable or what your actual selling price is. What is sloppy about your auction is how you settled on your b/o. Again, in case you don't understand, you're alienating (big word, I know) your bidders. Many sellers on this board do the same thing.
I'm done with you and your thread, little man. Feel free to stomp around the house and call me all the names you want...but it just sounds like it's time for your juice and a nap.

Haha I can't say I didn't see it coming oh well here begins the bashing of ages I suppose If I was married had 10 children and still playing a computer game it would be none the less the same. Anyway I suppose what you are trying to deny is the rules of trade. If there are several people bidding on an item why would someone set a low b/o? If there are several people who seem interested in my item I am going to take full advantage and try to get the most out of the auction as I can. I am sure every trader reknowned or not will agree. It also humors me because you target my age, you target my cliches? Whatever I am over it. Close my thread. With people such as Captain Krompdown I have to reconsider my
my attendance in this forum.

OMG...you still don't understand that the way in which you determined your b/o (by doubling your c/o) will prevent people from bidding at all. Having a lack of bidders will either force you to set a low b/o (which you fear), or to set a b/o without hearing what the potential buyers in the market have to say (which you don't want to do). The trick is to know what you're selling and how much it's worth BEFORE you put up a WTS thread. There is a price check subforum on this board that you may want to begin using.
I haven't heard a single peep from you denying that you decided on your b/o by doubling your c/o.
All you're doing is encouraging people to NOT show an interest in your items.
Good auctions have b/os set from the beginning. That way, there is no stringing people along. That way, interested customers are not taken advantage of. That way, potential bidders aren't alienated from the bidding process.
Do you (finally) understand?
Sorry if I hurt your feelings or if the conversation drifted off topic. There was no need for any of it.
Better luck with your next auction.
Please reconsider your method.

Yes. Thank you for confirming one of my points. I think that habit is bad for the board, even though lots of people do it. It's ESPECIALLY bad for the board BECAUSE a lot of people are doing it.

Another solid point. I'm not questioning the existence of threads. I'm pointing out the downside of a KIND of thread that is becoming more and more common. This particular thread is just one example. Quote:
