You and your team (henchmen or players - all level 20) are in an arena with a door at one end.

After a short countdown, the battle begins....

You will encounter EVERY single boss that exists in guild wars one-by-one, starting with the lowest level bosses.
The first bosses that appear would be taken down quickly (Vatlaaw Doomtooth, Bonfazz Burntfur, Gorgan Hatemonger). As the bosses get harder, you would be running out of time to spare. If you didn't kill them quickly enough, they could start to stack against you.
The later bosses are a challenge for PUG's so it would be essential that you have a great team, tactics and coordination.

Better kill that monk boss before perfected armour comes along!!

Wouldn't that be fun, the adrenalin rush, the urgency of killing specific bosses along the way?

The idea is meant to be content for people who have finished the game, rather like the Glint quests but would be completely repeatable.

There must be a hundred or more bosses in Guild Wars, so this challenge would be immense. Not a bad deal for the devs actually, considering it's just a case of some scripts and a new arena (or a refurbished old one?).

Sounds cool. Being PvE content, does that mean they drop items and you can capture skills? Items, OK, Skills, perhaps not as you'd have people coming in equipped with 6 SoC's.

Ah yes Dean, i didn't consider skill captures. Perhaps capping could be deactivated somehow.

Items would be a must for such a system or else it would be no fun.

I like it a lot. A lot of fighter games and RPG games have boss arenas so you can simply play against all of them. One example is Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven. That was one I particularly loved. A boss arena would be a great addition to Guild Wars, although that the bosses are not so wide-ranging.

Even better... another boss enters every 'x' seconds, regardless of whether or not prior ones are dead.

I like the idea, but going through every single boss in-game would take a very long time I think. (and be boring)

Why not:

-first 'round': all Ascalon bosses are put in
-second 'round: 1/2 Northern shiverspeaks bosses are put in
-third 'round': other 1/2 put in

Every time getting a little less bosses but which are stronger.

I don't think it should come down to one, because any boss ingame is killable by 8 man.

But like 2 or 3 would be a little more difficult.

But I like the idea very much.

Problem would be Southern Shiverpeaks... I mean like Perfect Armor, Perfect Bow AND that Wurm [FoC] boss? You couldn't kill them all within the time limit.

errr and there are too manny bosses to stack in 1 arena at once lol it would be The Party of The Bosses

The ascalon area already counts over the 30 bosses o.0

Maybe you could battle them on your own 1v1 to test your skill and in a menu you can pick a boss *i wont battle that lvl 28 wurm boss though* but it would be funny

Maybe even add pve boss-killing ranks when you get better you rank rises and you can buy special thingies that have no purpose

Like a Frost wurm suit made of a Frost wurm that can be putted over yourself
and scare peeps

It would have no armor ofcourse ^^

Aye, that's exactly what i meant by having to kill them fast enough or else they would stack up. Sorry if my description was noobish.

And that would be what would make it so fun and challenging. Obviously, Anet would have to test it out to make sure it is possible (only just) to kill each boss before the next one comes along. There would be little room for mistakes/resurrections, or else your team could get swamped very gradually as a new boss enters the arena, hell bent on revenge.

This is a great idea, maybe we could even gain PvE Fame/Rank/Emotes from this!

Would the bosses drop items, or would items drop at the end of the round?

It should be in a sort of colloseum arena, and everytime your team wins a round you hear the crowd cheer
