I know it's early in the game but it's never too early to plan ahead. A lot of people having been mentioning that they plan on adding Auctions Houses for GW. However, I haven't seen anything (as of this posting) on GW's site about this update nor, about any future plans for updates and fixes. We do however have to give them credit about for posting info about current updates. (sound of clapping hands) I thinks it's safe to say that we all would like to know what going on with GW's development plans. Of course they don't have to spill the beans on everything...if there's something that would be better off being a surprise then by all means, keep us in suspense for a little while. Just let us know that you're still alive over there ;-)

This is a really bad idea, if they put up information about adding something and they don't then they will have a million people pounding down their door complaining about how a feature they promised was not added. Take a look at WOW, the pubbies go nuts when the future updates are put up, a million threads asking when the updates will be put in and then the whines about how a certain feature was left out or a certain feature was added that was on the future updates page.

Thats why guildwars.com does not have an official forum. They do not have to deal with 4 year old fan boys.

I think the easiest thing for them to do would be to do what they are doing. As they do updates throughout the week, just post what was updated on that friday or something. There are probably numerous small tweaks every day that they would waste time making a post on the website for. That way we know what they added and we wouldn't have to worry about knowing something cool is coming and have to wait for it.

Works for me!

Imagine the ceaseless screaming when a feature in development has to be delayed or scrapped for one reason or another, then understand why they don't announce them ahead of time.

LMAO! Saves them time and money to worry about more important things! Ok, again this is true. Then in that case...it's safe to say that Guild Wars knows best what to do in this case. However, it would really funny if they came up with an april fools joke for next year...Guild Wars is announcing "<add april fools joke punch line here>"

I'd love to see, but at the same time, I understand why they wouldn't want to do it.
