Ok so i am facing a predicament here. The frog (backed up by numerous prominant posters here) has said that this amazing 15k tomentors armor comes out soon. I would assume when it does you wont be able to move without tripping over people wearing it, but my query is this...
The necro Fissure armor, IMO, is the only one worth looking at. Should i save and bide my time and see the 15k tomentors? or blow the exsorbitant amount on the two pieces of fissure armour i want?
Opinions? Screenies if ya have them would be awesome.

Depends, do you really want that 70AL at the expense of increased damage from holy? If it does sound appealing, wait for it. If not, go for fissure.

Fissure is better, in my view, Tormentors sucks. The extra vs holy is a big negative. Plus, it looks like crap. The massive shoulder circle things are silly...

lol I wish, I was talking about regular tormentors. And as the 15k looks at least somewhat like the regular one, I was generalizing.

I think you should wait to see what the 15k necro looks like. FoW for male necros look like GARBAGE(Yea i said it). Only good 15k armor for male necros is 15k Necrotics. If your a female necro however, get that FoW.

What character do you have, if you have a female character then you can go with the Tormentor Fissure Armor if you like the stats. I would go for the Fissure Scars for the added energy.
But IF you have a male then (my opinion and lots of people I know) male Fissure is just ugly.
I have a male necro and I have the 15K Tormentor and cannot wait to see how it looks.

I feel like i should clarify for savio's benefit. I dont care at all what its like, all i was wondering was from a financial standpoint, is it worth going out now and buying the fissure armor (for male nec, which personally i think looks awesome) or wait and see this one everyone is raving about? I have seen the fissure amor and KNOW it looks cool, i have heard enough people ranting about it, there has to be some footing to base these "OMFG WHERE IS THIS ARMOR" statements? both are expensive (unless your loaded which i am not). Also controversially i will agree with Talon, in that GENERALLY the 15k's are a adaptation of the normal armours, where as fissures are completely unique. thanks for your thoughts.

IMO - even the fissure doesn't look all the great
I have 15k Necrotic for chest/legs, tats for hands/feet and I like my look much more so than most necros I've seen in game (yes Im sure others who run a Nec will say the same thing....but I'm actually being objective here....even though it's only MY perspective)

15k Necro armor will be around 70-80k. Fissure necro will be around 2.5 million. That should help answer your question.

Also, both Necrotic and Tormentors are AL70 and both suffer an extra 5 damage per piece of armor vs. Holy damage.
If your wearing a full Tormentors set and someone Smites you, you'll take 20 extra damage. It's not a big difference and it's probably worth it.

I believe the tormentor set adds 20 damage everytime you are dealt holy damage, so the balthazar's aura will deal almost double damage.
