Silver Blades of Tyria [SBOT]

I'm currently using:

Code:
Sever Artery
Savage Slash
Final Thrust
Hamstring
Galrath Slash
Healing Hands
Mending
Restore Life
It works to some extent, but i seem to have trouble keeping myself alive, even with mending and h.hands.

Any tips?

If this is random pvp, get rid of mending and go healing breeze--use rez sig instead of restore life (its faster, and brings them back full health). In team arenas, get rid of all health skills and pump up sword (I would go axe or hammer personally) to 16 (12 + helm + sup rune), and go strength to 13 (12 + minor strength). In Tombs, same thing. In GvG, being a tank may be of some use as you may be trying to win by war of attrition, but even then, a good couple monks should help you tank while you disrupt, annoy, irritate the opposition.

Are you using the pre-made Paladin build?

You will need stances and healing breeze. Maybe bonetti's to get your energy back up, while having 75% chance of not getting hit. Or Gladiator's Defense if you got warriors pound on you, maybe? I would suggest using healing hands when and only when you have all 4, or 8, depending on where you are playing, are focusing damage on you. But most of the time, you'll be targeted last.

I suggest taking off restore life and putting in a resurrection signet.

And about recommending a good build...you can do it! No really, because it doesn't take that much effort to read the skills and put it in your skill bar. Just have to notice which skills compliement another. Why do it yourself? You'll end up doing better in the end knowing that you did something yourself.

I use the paladin, but modify it as i dont feel like spending 3000faction to unlock something that i can use for free

You don't have to spend 3000 faction. You could always go play PvE and unlock the skills that way.

As a Warrior in 8v8, your primary goal should be damage. Here's a good Sword warrior.

W/Mo
12+4 Swordsmanship
10+1 Strength
8+1 Tactics

Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Frenzy
Sprint
Charge*

Frenzy is kind of hard to use if you are new to it, so I recommend you try out this axe warrior.

W/R
12+4 Axe Mastery
9+1 Strength
9 Beast Mastery

Eviscerate*
Axe Rake
Penetrating Blow
Executioner's Strike
Tiger's Fury
Sprint
Distraction Blow
Resurrection Signet

Is that a joke?

Use the search function, and read the warrior basics thread to get a grasp of the general idea behind a good warrior.

In general, you'll want at least 2 damage skills, a rez signet, a sprint and a frenzy or tiger's fury attack speed boost. That leaves only 3 skill slots (excluding elites, which should be an elite attack skill) for anything else. If you insist on healing yourself (which is a bad idea in general but might become useful in random arena) take something like healing breeze and/or mend ailment, spells that are pretty efficient despite your mediocre healing ability.
