Next Beta Weekends

I read that the next beta weekends (March and April) will only be available to those who preordered. Does that mean the guest passes wont work now? I mean, I've preordered, but I wanted to show my friend and try get her to join.

unused guest/friend passes still work. they just are not having anymore official beta key giveaways..

unless i am corrected the guest pass that comes with the preorder should work

the GW site says it is closed in the sence that no contests givaways etc will be available for codes

just try it out. Get her set up and try the pass code. Alternatively if that doesn't work ... no loss! but I'm sure guest passes should still be accepted. I mean the more guests, the more people who buy = more sales And I dont know many companies that deliberately try to shot themselves in the foot. If there was an issue regarding guest passes or bandwidth problems so they want to cut out guest passes we would have heard of it already!

Friends passes come in the pre-order box. All pre-ordering does is give you two account keys. So, pretty much you pre-ordered and your friend can benefit from it and try the game out. This is kinda away to let peopel know baout it and ensurre sales.

I really see no reason why a friend's pass shouldn't work. The Guild Wars people see the friend's passes as an excellent marketing tool so why on earth would they cut out their best marketing device on the last bwe before the release of the game!? I'm feeling pretty confident that there will be no complications with the friends passes.

Yeah, what he and I jsut said. HAHA, yeah, It IS a pre-ordetring key. Jsut anextra to promote sales. There is NO difference accept the writing is a differnt color and it has different words and a different key.
