The person selling it is a scammer. He wanted 360k for it and only wanted 250k in plats and the rest in ecto. The dude wanted me to put 100k plus the ecto I was offering first for nothing in return or he wouldn't do the deal. I called him a scammer for dealing in this fashion then he just said he sold it right after I tried to buy it (not even 3 seconds after our convo ended) then he put me on ignore list. This was about 3 days ago stay away scammer! Oh and he keeps using differnt characters to try to sell it the one listed above wasn't his name I forgot what it was now should have wrote it down.

The best thing to do is have him display the item 1st in a trade window, then "attempt" to make a legitemate payment while taking screen shots all the way through. Once his attempted scam is captured, report it at http://support.guildwars.com using the header "EULA violation -- player attempted to defraud me in trade", complete with character name + city + district + time of exchange.

We need LOTS of people to do this, since
1) ANET won't perma-ban on first-time offenders, only repeat-violators
2) Multiple EULA-violation reports on vs the same player is more likely to merrit a perma-ban
3) We want to ban the account carrying the crystalline, so that he can't repeat this activity on a new account.

You don't have to lose gold to file a report. Just capture everything mentioned above. The more people filing complaints, the better the chances of shutting this guy down for good.

I didn't screenshoot. And people who are scammed are stupid or noobs so they can't report after. Too much complicated.

It's the best way to make lot of golds... Arena net need to do something quicker against that. Because I'm sure some people stoped the game after a crap scam of lot of golds (relative value).
