skill point

I have been playing PvP and I gained a skill point. What is it used for? And will it provide any advantages?

Where can you purchase skills? i have yet to find it in the RP...

you can buy them at trainers but if you do quests you can earn skills that way too.

you can learn skills by purchasing them from a skill trainer in several cities (i.e. lions arch, ascalon city, quarrel falls etc etc). you need skill points to learn skills, cant if you have no skill points.

i have skill points but i don't see any skill sellers or armor crafters...

skill trainers are only available in post-searing.
head to ascalon city post-searing and search for an NPC that ends witth [Skills]. there should be a sign somewhere near that says "Training Yard" (in ascalon, not in other cities).

excuse my newbness, how do i get to the post-searing stage?

I am refering to PvP though you cant travel to trainers and such in pvp.....am i missing something?

CAN ANYONE tell me what a skill point is used to in PvP.

In PvP you gain skill points instead of lvls..........What the hell are they used for?

Obviously its not to buy spells as there are not places to buy any and you come equiped with them all anyway. So what are they for?

you only come equiped with the skill you have unlocked with your roleplaying characters..

you can use those skill points to buy more skills, or capture sig's... thats all skill points are for... For gaining skills..

you use them to purchase new skills for your primary or secondary professions

you get skills from quests skill trainers or using Signet of Capture on a boss

so if im lvl 20 on pvE with all the skills then skill points in PvP mean nothing.

That makes no sense.

you have all 150 skills?
you need a point for each one you didnt quest for

do the math and hoard those points
