Alternate story depending on what you do.

What if there were different destinies or stories if you did different thing like you DONT kill justiciar hablion and you stay in thw white mantle or if you prevented rurik's death(no one would do this one). Maybe if you couldn't ascend because you werent a Chosen one or something etc. Comments?

I like that idea. I always hated how the storyline forces you to become a traitor who betrays your White Mantle bretheren. I would much rather have stayed with the Mantle and killed off all of the Chosen and Shining Blade, who IMO are not the least bit cool whereas White Mantle is awesomely cool.

You know, when I realize how the story will turn I was somewhat disappointed. I mean, the in game character is an Ascalonian refugee. To be honest, the White Mantle has done nothing but good for the Ascalonians.
To be honest, the white mantle actually turn out to be fairly good:
--> the White Mantle had offered hand in friendship first
--> the White Mantle had offered refuge to the Ascalonian refugees
--> the White Mantle wasn't bent on opening up the portal to hell and destroy civilizaiton on Tyria
I mean, look at Ascalon - there was no Mursaat to help Ascalon and look at the ashes... Isn't the greenery of Kryta worth a little blood?
Of course, maybe I am just thinking too much...

Yeah a multi-path story on Guild Wars would be ultra cool

I guess people like White mantle.
Maybe access to new areas similar to FoW or UW if you choose a certain path.

I like WM for the obvious reasons, armor, armor, armor, etc.
But if you think about it....[SPOILERS]
Halbion killed the chosen on the Bloodstone.
The souls killed on the Bloodstone powered the Door of Komalie.
Thus the WM was keeping the door closed, aka no happy titan
romping, until those damn Flameseekers came along.
Therefore...WM=the good guys
Plus fighting alongside Mursaat would just kick all kinds of ass.

or guild storage lockers, or fix the broken quests, or login with the choice of where you want the toon you pick to start, or...etc...etc....etc...

I personally think this is a good idea. It woud help the community and the story, not to mention possibly adding a real GUILD WAR.
Think about it, if you took sides with the WM and another guild didn't you probably wouldnt get along (generically). Then you would have a GvG match (wouldn't affect your rank) and the victor would hold sway of a area or something (similar to Lineage 2).
Not just being uber cool, multiple stories could enhance the GUILD WAR aspect of GW.

Also when you picked up the eye, notice how you were not knocked down aka were "chosen" with all the "benfits" they planed for us down the road.
