I think that the reason as ranger spike does so well in the HOH is because,in every other map u can stand behind a wall becasu rangers need line of sight,BUT no arrows now go through walsl in the HOH lol.

IWAY has essentially become a tool that one good group will exploit to steal an altar with a shutdown build. You shut down holding team's monks, they can't maintain aegis or heal through iway, and eventually die or fall back, and the altar is free for your taking. Fortunately for the invading team the IWAY group has no idea that they were just duped and the altar was taken from beneath them, and they continue to attack the formerly holding team for the remaining 5 minutes.

However there are the odd times IWAY does win halls, I've seen it happen, and every time, 100%, without fail, it's because the two other teams that actually have a grasp of HoH gameplay have decided to concentrate on each other and ignore the iway group. this is BS. monkless iway based (mod way - whatever way) groups arent not meant to hold an altar. if those groups are holding an altar, its not because "its handed to them on a silver platter.."

So you are basically saying every time MATH wins hoh its because we got lucky? We are almost always ganked straight away and people know us now and always go after us, btw we just held hoh for 5 matches today and have held for 3 games many times, you are saying we get lucky every single day?

1) the basic 12 years old kid with his uberwarrior
2) the organized and mature group
Problem is : 99% of iways are #1
Winning the hoh is luck (as lucky as any other team, maybe more), but holding it... don't tell me an iway team can hold an altar if 2 organized teams are in.

iway takes no skill, all iway wars have to do is attack a target, when the pets die use the iway skill to keep themselves alive. if u want to try to hold an altar there are these things that are in the game called monks ;P try to use them

OMG we won HoH 3 times in a row with a henchie this night.. Then i got a err=7 and they still won 6 times. I hate it so much I wouldve getten so much Fame for it i guess.. But ah well , those things happen

I was attempting to get a few fame points in a r0+ IWAY group so I could get my r3 and actually get into a decent group, and we won a few matches . . .
Next thing we knew, BOOM! We were in the HoH.
Laughed about it all afternoon, all those r6+ IWAY groups, and a group of people with about 30 fame each made it to HoH*.
*Well, we didn't win, but what did you expect?
