Dyes?

Well I searched a bit and didn't really find what I was looking for.


What should I do with these dyes I keep finding, I see people selling them constantly but they seem to be selling them for less than the dye merchant will buy them for.

I don't get it... Shouldn't you sell them to the dye merchant?



So what should I do with them if I don't plan on using them.


EDIT: While we're at it I salvaged a minor rune of swordsmanship. Again I have no use for it, are these worth something if I trade it to someone?

I usually sell em for less or as much as the dye seller buys them for. The color your looking for isn't always easy to get, and since the color of your armor isn't going to affect your pvp, why not just get it cheap?

Besides, when I go out and come back with a haul of goodies, that extra tiny bit of cash isn't gonna make a world of difference. Since I can't get too much for it no matter what, I'll make someone happy instead of having them searching for a few days to get the color I have.

And usually, I tell them to pm whenever they get the color I'm looking for. 90% of the time, they do, and sell it to me for the same price I charged them.

If that's not your thing, try trading them for the color your looking for. See if you can get that done.

Okay what about the rune, some guy offered me 200 gold for it and i said just a sec then he offered 300.

I really have NO clue what it's worth.

Considering I got the game about 24 hours ago I'd consider that a lot but I don't want to undersell if it's worth more.

Lol one of my friends offered me 30 gold for it.

BTW I just sold the dyes to merchants because I'm lazy, got a decent amount of gold.

I've seen minor runes go for between 200 and 500. That seems about the norm.
