profession change

Was wondering if it is at all possible to change your 2nd prof in pre-searing? And if so what would go best with ranger for pve farming etc? I'm just not sure if a really like necro with it tbh. I like ranger so far despite all the flaming it gets on these forums. Any help would be great thanks.

If you have already accepted a secondary profession then your stuck with that till after you have Ascended. If your unhappy with your secondary profession and want to change and are still in pre-searing, you will have to delete and re-create the character.

If you haven't accepted a secondary profession but have the skills for another profession all you need to do is go talk to a primary trainer for another profession to get the skills from that profession - ie if you have Mesmer skills and want Necromancer skills (ie say you wanna be a R/N and not R/Me) but haven't made mesmer your permanent secondary.. all you need to do is go talk to Necromancer Munne to change skills to that of Necromancer..

Even if I have already decided what I want my secondary profession to be I will still go to all the trainers pre-searing and do their quests for the extra xp before going back to my final choice and choosing that one again. You can't leave pre-searing til you have decided completely on your secondary profession and then you are stuck with it until you have ascended much further in the game and done a few extra quests in the crystaline desert, as mentioned above
