New skills, new classes, new missions.......What about pets!! :(

So not too long until GW chapter 2 comes out, you recon there will be any new pets? If so, what would you have as YOUR pet?
Personally id have an eagle, weee little eagle pecking at my foes...
Back to my serious side, id probably settle for a polar bear

Hmm... necros with the ability to tame undead creatures as pets, with similar skills to rangers...
Interesting twist it could be.

Reaper
1,000 cucarachas - opponent would have to step on all of them to get rid of them, or they would just regenerate. I think watching them run from AoE spells would be hilarious. They could each hit for 1/4 point of damage.

A freaking killer bunny. Just imagine him in pvp, owning, and laughing at the people getting owned by a bunny.

A dog named, Lassie - can run off to get help if we're in trouble.

since all the pets on the game are exactly the same except for dmg type i don't see the point of this.
i wouldn't care if they added new pets if they have the same AI as they do now. getting tired of waiting for a simple AI upgrade for the pets. just give me the henches AI before the aoe AI. i don't want my pet to run from aoe he can tank it or at least give me commands for him.

But the point of new pets is just to have.... new pets!
I'd like to see more alien looking stuff, like the Dune Lizard.
(why can't a devourer be a pet? After all, Old Mack got one!)
But, we'll probably be stuck with Giant Pandas from the new area...
Pevil Lihatuh
lol i want new pets
but i dont
I need about 7 rangers as it is just to have one of each pet.
... curse my pet fetishes in games *sulks*

This has been mentioned in another thread, but a Zoo is needed. (basically, inventory for pets, so you could switch them out as needed).
Else, you COULD have all your characters change secondary to Ranger, and then get several pets leveled up. From what I understand, even if you change your secondary later on, that Pet is still tied to that Character. (correct?)
So, maybe by Chapter Two's assumed new slots, you could have 7 pets....
Xue Yi Liang
My top choices for pet would either be a platypus or a bastard child.

Seriously, I like the idea of having eggs and having them hatch.
The coolest thing in table-top AD&D was finding an Egg of an exotic monster, and having a Ranger or Druid train it!
Pevil Lihatuh
lol yeah i want a Joe the Devourer hatched all on my own! *feeds it juniper meat*...er... ok. leave me be.
yeah i've seen and voted for the pet storage many times. I'm not gonna have many ranger secondarys though, I have 2 accounts coz I wanna play with the many different possibilities, not just stick to rangers

darkdragon99
i'd love a dragon as a pet or maybe a cerberus or a Chimera
TwinRaven
Serpent: blunt (crushing damage)
Devourer: type dependent on secondary skill...I like the hatching idea
Porcupine: Peircing damage (throws quills)
Badger: slashing damage
Wolverine: (see badger)
Tiger-wolf : extinct, but hey, can be virtually revived
Hound: not Cerberus, neccissarily, but a good "black hound"
Bobcat....why not?
Ram: blunt damage
Psuedodragon: of D&D pen and paper fame....small, but cool
NO racing snails

how about a velociraptor
EagleEye33
I think the new ones could cause certain condition like the spider was rumoured to do. Like a big snake as a pet(poison) a tiger (bleeding) a deer (crippling). They dont have to do the extra dmg but to have them would be nice. Maybe a bird thats in air or a small dragon that looks attainable (not some huge glint) he can even cause burning!
