Zealous and Vampiric over multiple hit

] It may sound stupid, but it's been bugging me: what is the concept of 'hit' for zealous and vampiric effects? I mean, If I use a zealous bow with ignite arrows and I do damage to 5 targets in one shot, does the effect stack for 5 hits in that shot?

No, it's only based on the arrow hit, not the fire damage.

You can however dual shot and gain twice, or use barrage and gain off each arrow fired. Barrage is great that way.

Not quite. It is 'splash fire' damage, not melee with an arrow. Same with vampiric. The more you hit, the more damage is inflicted, the more the effect stacks. That's why Warriors like cyclone axe + vampiric weaponry. Same with bowstrings, and whatnot.

Edit: People are mis-reading what I said. I meant Splash damage does NOT incur the vampiric/zealous but one time, while barrage and melee arrow skills do. To clarify.

Multiple shots really works well, but...
Flourish and barrage are both elites.... can't combine them

quickest energy regen = being surrounded by mobs + hundred blades or cyclone axe + zealous hilt or haft = full energy bar

Unless you're out capping one and have the other in ^_-

Lol shim, you and your conditional situations. They are just saying there is other ways to do it. If your capping one of the elites, use cyclone axe for multiple targets. Possibly for a single target use flurry. Lower dmg but more health/ energy. Basically use skills that make you attack faster or deal physical dmg to multiple targets. Im not gonna go name everyone for you

If you haven't guessed by now, I'm a very theortical person, with very practical reasons. It kinda conflicts alot of the time.

You just assume the worst and ask for a solution. It's just as easy for you to think about it yourself. As you've said in another topic, your not new. All I've been giving is simple answers which you seem to overlook.
