Super quick dye question
Athis Strider
I bought the 15k druids coat. I just wanted to see what areas of the coat got colored. So I colored it orange, and then used dye remover to get it back to its original color. DONE! No more original color! It turned into a beige!
So is there a way to get the original color back?
Or Am I done?

Thanks for your reply Shim, but Im afraid none of the colors in the chart you suggested match the origional scheme. The combo was like a leather brownish with a maroon redish leather like look. Quite nice. But I dont think I could match it exact. What sucks is i thought dye remover removed only the color i added, but instead removed everything. They should change the name to BLEACH.

Also, if you can't/don't want to achieve the original color, may I suggest silver+silver+yellow? Makes a silver tinged with gold, which looks, imho, super cool on druid armor. =)

[QUOTE=Shimus DarkRaven]Aye, maybe they should. But, to achieve a brown, I know there is a combo..and then just maybe add a lighter red mix to it? In any case, GuildWiki.org is among the best compiled sites i've saw, aside from the GWGURU homesite.

Ya Im sure there is a combo, but the problem is you can't really tell what exact color it will be until you put it on the material. Still, your are right, that is the best color chart I have ever seen! I'll try the siver(2) and yellow combo, sounds like it might look really cool!
Thanks for your help!

Dye remover turns the armor back to 'default' color, which on rangers is the khaki/tan color you got. Some armors come 'pre-dyed'.

and when you do the laundry make sure you separate the colored armor from your uncolored armor ...
