A Monk Forge Runner?

Before Nov. 11, forge running was not really as spawn reliant as it is now. I would say I was at par with LBS running grad's at the time. Now everything has changed. Are forge run's harder? More or less. The thing I don't like is that it IS spawn reliant and you cannot rely on yourself to get out of trouble. Therefore I have began my quest for the most unspawn-reliant build as possible. Now I really need feedback to improve this build.
Here is what I have found with my lvl 19 Monk/W Forge runner.
-You do not need strength
-Possible to complete with 1 running skill (8 sec sprint)
-Do not need Bstance maxed
-Do not need a level 20
-Difficulty with this build vs Warrior Primary is better in some and worse in other ways, balances out but there is more room for improvment with this build.
The Spellbreaker Monk:
Divine-12
Healing-8
Tactics-12 (for me its 10 till i get lvl 20+ atrib quests_
Censors set with Minor Healing, Divine, Prot. Major/Sup Vigor
Chaos Axe o Fortitude +30 (Replace with +energy +life item)
Crimson Carapce Shield (+45 Ench -2 Ench)
Skills:
Bstance
Sprint
Spellbreaker
Heal Area
Purge Cond.
Contemplation of Purity
Healing Breeze
Mending
Pros and Cons
- Ice golems, heretics, imps become almost no problem
- 3 Bars of energy regen with mending=Constant supply of mana
- HIGH physical damage vs monk, elemental is much less of a problem
- Dreadnoughts is easy, no such thing as bad dreadnoughts spawn
- Top of worm hill and end of lonars is easy
- Snake is hardest due to high giant damage
- TIMING IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAT ANY OTHER BUILD
- Miscalculation in worm tunnel=death
- Wall of imps in lonars (beginning) is easy if able to escape imps with TIMED sprint
- YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ESCAPE GROUPS AS EASY, must time sprint and be aware of rest spots
- Mending+Healing Breeze is usually only way to live through giants + enemy heavy spawns
- Cast spellbreaker too late/early=death OR if spellbreaker is canceled
-Bstance IS ONLY USED FOR GIANTS AND WORMS, no golems
-CANNOT ESCAPE GIANTS IF BSTANCE IS OUT
*Mainly the only problem is worms in the beginning, all slows don't become problems anymore though. Thinking of sacrificeing 2 skills for rush and that adrn skill.*
-IMPROVMENT-
I need a way to reduce physical damage
Better way to escape if possible
May switch healing to protection prayers?

Wow, very impressive. Have you completed the run post-patch?
Is there a particular reason you favor Heal Area over Healing Signet?
If you were to switch to Protection Prayers, what whould you use? Vital Blessing and Shielding Hands are what crop up first in my mind.

Yes i have. Took me about 7 practice run's to get some of the timing down. I've completed it 3 times so far almost in a row. I havn't encountered the worst spawns, but I also havn't encountered the easiest. My warrior would have trouble at the end of lonar spawns I faced, but my warrior would also have it easier vs worm spawns. Gonna replace heal area with healing touch.

I highly doubt that this was done, and if you could ever show me one of your runs, I would greatly appreciate it and build a monk right away .

Casting times are essential. For healing touch's healing, you will take a bit of damage from healing touch. Also, how energy efficient is this build?

Why does he need Holy Viel when he has Spell Breaker? I believe Contemplation is a last ditch heal.

Cop > viel for this as cop heals hp while removing the hex.

This actually was done. It is very energy efficent. Constant 3 bars of energy regen is great. The problem is when you need to heal, monsters like to cancel the skill while you cast it. And this build is better vs everything but giants and worms. As seeing giants MAKE UP snake...eh...

prot spirit possibly to avoid massive amounts of dmg even with 0 in prot 9 sec i believe is still ok...

Oh update on build-
Impossible warrior spawn at top of worm cave (Golems with avicaras bunched right at top, un avoidable), I got 1 second to rest before they swarmed me, cast Spellbreaker and bam, it was easy sailing.
And 10% of 575 health is 57 damage, big damage to me is like 27 worms, 17+ grawl and 30 giants...

If not .. got in a corner for shame .... tried it many times, dont believe in healing prayers, and the point that u still have the problem with spawns of 3 close groups _ avicaras // at the end of the tuNNel ..
_ point two is that if u made the first point .. u CANT evade the 3+ worms onb the next step ... noT with 1 sprint.
I DONT BELIEVE u CAN stand in 3+ Worms + GraWlls + MoRE ... withOUT Bstance ... lol ... what a sucking thingy timing thing ..., it has nothing better than with a warrior or ranger, the lazy imp corners are the only point ;=)

Mending I have seen a build (somewhere) that used Rush and Balthazar's Spirit as well as Charge. Heal Area is the target spell to change, if you have anything in Divine Favor you could use Watchful Spirit which HEALS you when removed, thus more compatible with CoP.
I saw a warrior do this run using Holy Veil, CoP and Healing Breeze. This guy really knew the run and made it look like a cakewalk.

You can't use PS while on a run.this doesn't sound like bad build.charge would really help compliment it what armor are you useing and any runes of Vigor?
