It would be nice if, on the hero screen, you could change around all of the attributes you want (so long as you have enough refund and attribute points to make those changes) and then see the effect those changes will have before you apply them.
e.g. I take points away from fire magic and put them towards water magic and then see what sort of effect this will make on my spells, then if I like the change, I hit 'APPLY' and then all of the points are consumed and the changes are made.

Good idea.
Kind of like the forums.
You get a preview before you commit the refund points.

I do find it pretty sad that I have the ability to drop 12 levels in Air and then pick up 12 levels in something I never used before like fire or domination, just on a whim. Totally throws character definition out the window.
Better RP solution... Limit the max attribute point refund pool to 1. It would make a lot more RP sense and would force a gradual character change instead of:
Hey all these spells I never used before for some reason seem REALLY powerful... My old expert spells? For some reason they seem really weak ATM...

Has anybody made a java applet or anything that allows people to preview their attribute changes? That would be just as good IMO.

Now only if they can how the primary attribute effects the main character. For example how much of a mana pool you would have if you max out Energy storage.

You dont ever need to waste points redistributing secondary class. In Destiny's Gorge and such you can change your secondary class. Do all of the quests that allow you to change your class, they are pretty easy. When you change your secondary class, that is all you can change, you keep all of the skills from that class..but you cannot use them. When you change your class it drops your attribute points to and doesnt use any redistribute points. All you have to do is change back and you have all the points to spend how youd like. The primary class doesnt change, but you should have more then enough redistribute points to spend now to mess around.
