I've said it before here on this forum: Do missions and quests together with guildmates as often as possible, and bring in randoms to fill out the party. The biggest draw to someone who is dissatisfied with their present guild, is to see 2-3 capes doing things together. We have hardly EVER asked anyone to be in the guild; they usually ask for the invite. Over the six months or so of the guild's existence, we have grown to around 50 members with usually 12-15 on in the evenings (at least when I'm on I can see that many). Usually if you gain members in this manner, you have already partied with them, see if they work well as a team, if they communicate well, if they will fit in. If they do ask to join you, make sure they know what your guild is all about. It helps if YOU know what your guild is all about too... (eg primarily PvE, GvG, Tombs, etc). |
