So I'm going to post this here, instead of as a news announcement. Why you ask? Because in order to read the entire article you have to be an IGN Insider member (which I'm not) and I just hate being linked to content that you can't access without a membership/paying for it. So I won't subject any of you to that. But for those who are a subscriber to IGN knock yourselves out and tell us if there's any good tidbits of information in there! Here's the text you can read:
"Warcraft versus Guild Wars
Why should we all get along?
By Matt Langenfeld
November 16, 2005 - There comes a time in every man's life when he learns how to discriminate between two similar things, probably starting around the dodge ball age of seven years old or so, and when that happens he starts out on a lifelong journey of comparing and contrasting for himself. We learn to decide from what information is available to us, what kids are the slowest, thus becoming our dodge ball victims, and what kids are the fastest, hopefully becoming our teammates. Of course if these fast kids don't end up on our side, then they become a threat instead of a bonus. We decide what is our priority, who is the best and not just objectively, but we use our own biases to decide on how we best combine with other people, things and even places."

While its pay-to-view content I really hope someone posts it here so others can read it, or at least a summary of the key points.
