What are the stats for the best axes?

I've heard the best swords are 15-22. I'm thinking about switching to axe because it might compliment my adrenaline based fighting style a bit better. Are there defensive swords like there are defensive axes?

I have been using a hammer for a while, but being a Warrior/Necromancer, I need the energy boost. I have a 11/18 or something now.

I sold a rare 6-26 Axe with 3 bonuses....one extended poision duration, one was a damage increase % and I can't remember the last one....probably armor or health.

6-28 i think is the highest dmg end weapon

hmmmm... that's an interesting trade off. instead of a 15-22 sword you get 6-28 axe. does anyone how often critical hits occur
