Hello,
This might be a total newbe question but does anyone know where and what drops the Lumps of Charcoal? I have been asking alot of people and lets say some of the answer are interesting. I have been racing around my known map farming trying to see what drops where. No luck on the charcaol. Any help here would be appreciated.

Not sure what drops it. But you can craft Steel and Charcoal outside Ft. Ranik

Charcoal is an advanced crafting item. it rarely drops. the best way to get charcoal is to go to one of the crafters that make charcoal out of wood. it cost gold, but it is the quickest way to get your charcoal requirements.

Fire Imps and other "flame" creatures seem to drop it on occasion. You can also make Charcoal with 10 Wood Planks and 100G, I believe, at a material crafter. And, of course, from there you can make Steel with 10 Iron Ingots and 1 Lump of Charcoal and another 100G...

I headed out of Piken Square on a quest and I believe it was a Storm Elementalist that dropped me a lump. If it wasn`t Storm it was some Elementalist. It was a good run, I salvaged 2 Fur, 2 Steel Ingots, and got dropped Charcoal and Parchment and that was taking along 2 henchmen.

So is there different crafters in different cities or areas? I have been looking to see if there was different cafters in Old Ascalon. The breach does have a few elimentalists so I will go hunt them down again. With some luck I might get a few drops.
