When i try to post a message with picture attached the message is shown perfecly but the image's not! There where the image is supposed to be is another image with a message: REMOTE LINKING OF IMAGES NOT ALLOWED!
What does it mean? I have the image i wish to post on my homepage? I copied the link of the image and pasted it into the "insert image" place. Did i do something wrong? HELP ME!!

whats the url of your homepage? I know geocities and a few other free ones dont allow remote linking.

Remote linking is where you try and point to a picture file on one server from another server - ie all the screenshots you see in these forums pointing to images that are on imageshack server (as example).. these are all being "remotely linked" from the Guid Wars Guru forums..
If your getting the error message saying "Remote linking of images not allowed", it means the server which host's the image only allow's direct links to it - ie it only allows links from itself, but won't let any other site link to the image.
The only way would be to put the link as a HTM URL with the URL showing the image - this way this foru,m would be linking to that site's server and displaying a page from there server, and it wouldn't be remote linking as the link to the image is from a web page on it's own server.
IE make a blank web page with just the image on it, then post a link to that URL.. so if people want to see the image they click the link and thus get around the remote linking prohibition.
