They're one of those subscription communities, I think they have more stuff for wow though. Anyway as said they pay the bills, also part of the terms were no advertising of exploits or cheats. and besides wouldnt you rather have them than the smilies?

Your second sentance contradicts or negates the first unless they changed dramatically the way ads work from a few years ago. Basically Guru gets money for every click on the ad. no clicks = no money.
