suprisingly it took about an hour and a half, we each only died 4 or 5 times
and yea i did notice the titan plant things i was like..scared
it helps when they hit for 3 dmg..then you get shielding hands on you

I've only done that once and that was with my warrior/monk also. Unfortunatly it doesn't save the world...

My mesmer was on 250K deaths when he reached lvl 18, quite impressive.. I had a lack of slots though, he was a waste of a spot anyway..
I think there's a lvl 20 in Pre-Searing too (he was lvl 19 a month ago), it's a female Monk, always pimping with her Black dyed starter armor
