You may have a keylogger on your machine. I would run Anti-Virus and spyware removeal software asap, failing that format and start fresh.

Never download random and unknown software off the Internet, they are often keyloggers or viruses.

And you double posted a thread... don't do that

I'd run a virus scan and a spyware scan asap, if I were you.

I remember once when i pressed ctrl, alt + del just randomly and for no reason.
I saw some guy called Smith attached to my computer in the users tab. Now that is scary, lol.

I've had this happen to me before. I done the exact same thing. However I haven't downloaded anything beforehand that would have had a keylogger in it and I scanned my system, finding not even the slightest bit of spyware or whatnot.

This I've heard happening to a lot of people and I would say it is an issue that goes beyond just keeping your pc safe.

you either have a keylogger or very bad security for a remote control program to get on your comp.

Does sound like a keylogger, do a virus scan, if you dont have any try the following http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm it's a good free online virus scan to use if you dont currently have software. Turn your firewall on (and i dont mean windows firewall junk) that thing hasnt changed since windows xp has come out. Get something like zonealarm or symantec.

There are other password stealing scams about - Ive heard of people creatinga website based on GW, and requiring people to sign up for a free account to use it, supplying an email address and password.
The webmaster can then try these emali/password combos on GW on the basis that many people use the same password for everything. From what I heard, they got hold of a few accounts in this way.
