If you’d like to respond to someone, do it either via PM, email, in game, or by editing your original post or last bump. The rule isn’t a daily bump, it’s a bump every 24 hours. Also, please note that upon having your thread closed, you may only post another thread after ANOTHER 24 hours has gone by since the closing of the thread, not just the next day.

There should be no reason as to why you need to post something in that thread again that you could have posted in the opening topic.
Your new post after the 24-hour time span can be anything you wish. It is just as editable as your opening post. Once you have submited your new post, the 24-hour rule now applies to this post.

you cant bump your own post within 24 hours
