Halloween

How did people find out about this? I missed it and kind of pissed, and thought theyed have one for thanksgiving. Did it appear without it being announced on GW site? Did they give us time to prepare? I quited for like 2 months and came back 2 days after Halloween. I really wanted a pumpkin head.
Also did they give out other things besides pumpkin head? I hear people talking about selling complete halloween sets, like 2 weeks ago.

It was highly publicized, both in game and out. It's kinda hard to miss it; but it seems you did..so I guess it was missable.

But since you quit, you didn't know. Besides pumpkin heads they gave absinthe, ghost-in-the-boxes, witch's brew, and more.

Sorry that you missed it. You can be angry, but you plain and simple missed it.

I came back because i read the main site and heard about the halloween stuff, i always check sites of games i no longer play but might do some day for new updates and events.

Can't expect an e-mail from the devs personally inviting me to take part in the halloween events.

the halloween event was all over the guild wars site, with a major revamp of Lion's Arch, Droknar's Forge and Tomb of the Primeval Kings, all Halloween-themed. it was pretty hard to miss.

the other items that they gave out were "Ghost in the Box", "Absinthe", "Witch's Brew" and "Squash Serum"....

each of these items were activated like a Dwarven Ale; just double-click and you'll get a result.

Squash Serum created a translucent pumpkin around your head.
Absinthe is much like a Dwarven Ale, except after you used a couple, the screen would grow blurry and turn a dark green.
Witch's Brew is pretty much a Dwarven Ale.
Ghost in the Box would release a ghost that would say "Boo!" and die after a couple seconds.
