Well that makes a bit more sense and you make some good points there. It would seem that we have deviated from the original topic a bit but I have found this little debate thoroughly enjoyable anyway lol

I probably also think so because I haven't played enough MMORPG's to have a fixed idea of what anything "must" be. So I look at the game for what it is, rather than what other games I know have been.

I have found lots of previews that calls it a MMORPG, especially from those previewers that never left pre-searing Ascalon.

Yes, they did advertise (and not stamp out the rumor) that this would be a non-pay to play mmorpg. Thats why they put so much emphasis on there not being a fee on everything.
As for talking, feel free to continue. I love a good debate and I have no bad feelings towards you for giving your opinion. Its what makes these forums great.
