W/Mo Farmers?
Me NoFat
I am sitting at a computer reading skill descriptions (Hate Thanksgiving). I have a question for you W/Mo farmers. Why use Mending (with 7-8 in healing) when you could use Watchful Spirit to get the same +2 regen with a endure pain like boost when you need it? I am sure someone has thought of it and decided in this very forum that it is not a good idea but I couldn't locate that post.
The answer may very well be that you cannot cast Watchful Spirit on yourself but I wouldn't know that off the top of my head.

Typically players also use Healing Breeze and Mending to give them the maximum of 10 pips of health regeneration.
The Son Of Morgoth

So this is a bit of a rip from my normal farming build which I am sure has been posted like 1000 times here. What I am trying to do is get rid of my normal grind. This is my normal (and most sword farmers I think) skill set:
Healing Breeze
Healing Sig
Sev Artery
Gash
Bon Def
Glad Def
Riposte
Mending
I am thinking that I don't normally need the regen of a Breeze and that it limits me to using Bonities to get energy back instead of letting my 2 pips do the job over time. I also cannot use a skill while Bon Def is up which limits my damage output. Most often I find myself needing a high # heal and not a breeze over time.
On to the new idea
Contemplation of Purity - Skill
Lose all "Enchantments", for each one lost gain 6-65 health, lose one "Hex" and lose one "Condition."
Healing Signet - Signet
You gain 40-130 health. You have -40 armor while using this skill.
Deadly Riposte - Sword Skill
For 8 seconds, while you have a sword equipped, you block the next attack against you, and your attacker takes 5-41 damage and begins bleeding for 3-21 seconds.
Gash - Sword Attack
If this attack hits a bleeding foe, you strike for 5-9 more damage and that foe suffers a deep wound, lowering that foe's maximum health by 20% for 5-17 seconds.
Final Thrust - Sword Attack
Lose all adrenaline. If Final Thrust hits, you deal 1-32 more damage. This damage is doubled if your target was below 50% health.
Shield Stance - Stance
For 8-18 seconds, while wielding a shield, you have a 75% chance to block incoming attacks, but you move 33% slower.
Gladiator's Defense {Elite} - Stance
For 5-10 seconds, you have 75% chance to "Block" incoming attacks. Whenever you block a melee attack this way, the attacker suffers 5-29 damage.
Watchful Spirit - Enchantment Spell
While you maintain this "Enchantment", target ally regenerates two health each second. That ally is healed for 30-150 when Watchful Spirit ends.
In the above build I am trying to find something that I can use to keep me alive and putting out max damage while taking less over time. I want to use the skills when they are charged and not when bon def is finally done. I was thinking that Watchful Spirit would give me the 2 pips I am used to with mending. Now the difference is that I usually wait until my health is like 300 then use glad def, heal sig, heal breeze, then Bon Def….wait…wait…wait…now use dmg skills. With the proposed build and the correct mix of attribute points I think I could wait until 200 health and then use Cont. of Purity to end Watchful Spirit and get both healing bonuses from them taking me back close to full health. Next time Glads is up I only have to cast Watchful spirit and not worry about how long it will be b4 I use a skill. When I need healed I just use Cont of Purity again. If I am taking max dmg then I follow that with a heal sig which should put me at full.
What do you all think. I am not very good at the #’s game so if someone wants to run with the healing difference between the 2 please do.

eh it could work but why dont u replace gash with another skill that does aoe? or helps u stay alive? i dont u should waste a skill on something that will do damage to only one target.

Gash adds dmg to a bleeding target...deadly rip causes bleeding. it is almost needed to take out devours and dune burrowers that are not affected by glads def. The problem with AoE is that it is AoE and causes them to run. I want them all attacking me so that glads can do its job and I can build adrenilin....yes some of us need a good english course...sry for my spelling
The Son Of Morgoth
Hmmmm yes those devourers can be pesky little buggers....

I know that there are only a million W/Mo farmers out there. Please give me some more constructive feedback. I know that someone also is very good with the #'s game of health over time compared to a breeze/mending build.
Flame and call me a noob if you want just add in something constructive along the way.

I use mostly axe for farming griffons.
8 Healing
10 Smiting
0 Axe (Not a mistake)
16 Tactics
Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defense
Gladiator's Defense {E}
"Watch Yourself!"
Vigorous Spirit
Healing Breeze
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit
With this build, I could kill all the griffons and minotaurs in the area at one time in under seven minutes (including monk boss and running). This was before the update, though, so it will take a little longer now since they stop chasing you after a while. All you have to do is cast Mending and Balthazar's Spirit, collect all of the griffons and minotaurs, then cast "Watch Yourself!" so you don't die right away. Then you have to cast Gladiator's Defense, then Vigorous Spirit, then just spam Cyclone Axe. This is not for damage purposes, it is simply for the health gain, because Glad's should be doing most of the damage to them. Then, when Glad's is over, cast Bonetti's. All of them (except the monk boss) should be almost dead by now, so just throw in a few Cyclones here and there to finish them off. Then, for the monk boss, just cast Glad's whenever you can. He'll die eventually.

i use axe but follow a totaly diffenent build i still use aoe but when the scramble add healing breeze and get back to full enoguh health i also have mending vigouros spirt and live viacarasly because say im fighting 10 griffons getting 10 health from vogouras spirit and live vicsarasly thats 200 health bonettis i use when cyclone recharges .then cyclone bonetthis cyclone bonetthis gladiators if it recharges cyclone with tht up then bonhettis then use balthazars, while it charges up u will still gain energy, so when they run healing breeze if needed it works well but needs some practice to get used to
