Two questions

I have two questions to ask, the first with the Chimeric Prisim does it still give the armour bonus to a ranger when the Prisim isnt technically equiped because of a bow in both hands. And shouldn't it be posssible to combine certain preperation skills, I hear everyone talking about using Read the Wind and Ignite Arrows, but whenever I use two preperations the second one goes over the first.

read the wind creates a spirit and is not counted as a preperation in that.

Anyone that has a bow equiped or a 2-handed weapon of any type will not get any benefit from any focus items/shields held in their second hand. It can be used as a storage space, but it doesn't help you any.
