Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, and Apophysis are all programs that I've used in making sigs.

Paint Shop Pro X Trial Version (I'm a cheap bastard, good thing Christmas is coming up) It actually does ok for my tastes

Macromedia fireworks is what I use. But this forum apparently doesn't allow pics in signitures. At least that's what the anal mods keep telling me.

Adobe Photoshop CS and Paint Shop Pro 7 is what I use to make signatures and graphics.

I haven't made any sigs, but I use GIMP for all my Photoshop-type projects. Ocassionally, I use Inkscape, if I want to mess with vectors. Both are free.
