I'd like to see a map where your radar is less powerful. To where you can still see your allies on the radar, but where your enemies are absent. Now, I'm not suggesting this feature become the norm for all PVP maps... just a feature for one map or so. Ideally, it would be an option that could be toggled by the combatants.
The element of surprise is one of the best aspects of online gaming. However in Guild Wars, it doesn't really exist. Everyone is quickly seen on radar and there is little surprise to be had. Bullocks.

I'd love if there was some sort of progression between arenas, prehaps a minimum wins requirement before you can go on... anything that'll incorporate some understanding of PvP (if not of PvP tactics and teamwork) into players before they move into the higher level arenas.
