Procedure:Equip the Ascetic's armor, the Scalp Design with the Major Rune, and the Grim Cesta. Allow yourself to be killed by the Devourer nearest the portal, dropping your health to 8 if done properly. Cast Essence Bond, Balthazar's Spirit, and Mending on yourself.
  • Run a path around the area (see attachment 1), drawing and keeping aggro from as many Desert Griffons and Minotaurs as possible. As soon as the first monster engages you, cast Protective Spirit. Renew it as needed. Attempt to lose the aggro of any and all Rockshot Devourers. Cast Healing Breeze, and renew it as needed. Repeatedly cast Signet of Agony, Desecrate Enchantments, and Spiteful Spirit until the adjacent monsters are dead. (OPTIONAL) If some monsters die far before others, switch to the Scalp Design with the Superior Rune applied. This will cause you to take less damage, due to Protective Spirit. Allow yourself to be killed after collecting loot, and repeat steps 3-6, killing all remaining Desert Griffons and Minotaurs.
    Flaws:
    If more than 1 or 2 Rockshot Devourers are attacking, it becomes difficult to mantain a steady damage output, due to interruptions.
    If Protective Spirit or Healing Breeze are interrupted, death is almost certain.
    It is often difficult to hold the aggro of many Desert Griffons and Minotaurs.

    im going to be the first to say it doesnt matter if you post a working build for UW or not, anet can check what you went in with at any given moment.

    so why not flood the market with ecto once more?

    solo uw takes way to long... u can do 3 duo runs in the time it takes to do one solo run. and plus solo u have liek a 70% chance of dying due to the lack of spell breaker...
