Pet is Stuck (Please Help)

My pet is stuck in the catacombs and won't follow me out when i leave. Every time i go back he is still there. He is a level 6 Melandrus stalker. Anyone know how to solve this?

I'm a level 7 Warrior/Ranger and i have charm pet still equipped.

exit the catacombs and the next time you go out he will always be back

this works if the pet dies a long way off as well

I have another pet question maybe you could answer so I dont have to start a whole new thread. But how do I dismiss a pet? Id like to get a different pet from the one I currently have, but havnt been able to figure out how to do that. Thanx for any help

in Pre-Searing go talk to the NPC that is next to Master Ranger Nente in Regeant's Valley - his name is or has "pet trainer" in it (or is a job title like merchants.. can't remember). He'll take your pet off your hands for free, which will allow you to get a new pet.

He isn't 'stuck'. When you leave the Catacombs by the main entrance, you go into Ashford Abbey, which is a common area, like Ascalon City. Pets only appear when you are in a mission instance, so if you go into another part of the world, your pet will follow you, as long as you have Charm Animal in your skill bar.
