Quick question, simple;
Does Mark of Pain act as an AoE spell to enemy monsters?
a.k.a Will they scatter?

They do sometimes, other times they do... it's like they can't decide.
Fye Duron
The fight or flee AI is weird. It seems that as long as they are locked on and attacking they will not flee as long as there target does not flee that is. At least that is the way it was lastnight when I was helping a freind get through the Char.

They're all right. They either will let it hit them, or they flee for their lives. It doesn't seem a steady <hits> or a steady >runs< so you'll need to use it at your discretion.

I use it often and the one you cast MoP on retreats whereas the rest stay put (cant imagine why, I'd expect everyone else to run). So if you can put a Pin Down/Similar Skill on that mob you can squeeze a little extra AoE damage.

They dont usually scatter for me. I use spiteful spirit as well, and that doesnt make them scatter either. I use them both in conjunction on two seperate baddies, which might be why they dont scatter (though i cant think of a logical reason why that would make a difference)
eom
they scatter.
but, I don't think it's until the second whack, so it might appear as if they're sticking.
the primary difference would be that after scattering they will usually return for more punishment because you are their target, although this might be similar to casting aoe w/yourself as epicenter.
the other diff is that you act as a wall, so it's easier to clog their retreat than it would be in the case of meteor storm, or whatever.
