damage reduction

I was wondering... since dmg reduction doesent stack up from armor parts (like Knight Armor), will a sup absorb rune be of any effect combined with an armor part that already reduces damage ? and how much damage exactly does a sup absorb rune take away ?

Runes stack with armor and stack with shields. Armor doesn't stack with other armor. Runes don't stack with other runes. Shields... well, you can't have two shields on at once.

Minor absorption: -1
Major: -2
Sup: -3
Knight's/Ascalon: -2

And yes, Knight's/Ascalon is global damage reduction, you wear one.

First off, do a search next time, in the upper right hand corner here, "Advanced Search" and search for this topic. It's been killed..

but since I'm helpful, no. Dmg Reduction doesn't stack up. One piece gives you an overall absorption <it's called global reduction>, yes, absorption rune will stack with the one piece of knights that actually works to reduce on a whole.

I agree with Savio. This question hasn't been asked in quite a while.

i was under the impression they nerfed global reduction. does knights/ascalon not just reduce damage if your hit in the area you are wearing it. eg if u have knights helm and get hit in the chest u dont get the dmg reduction, could be wrong tho...

No. Urban legends. It reduces on a whole, they didn't nerf it. I still wear my knights <one piece!> with pride. =)

Urban legend is if you get hit here, it so and so reduces..not true. IT calculates damage and then reduces accordingly, not by piece.
