Vincent Ritz
My personal experience running everywhere BUT droks
I use these skills:
Sprint
Symbol of Wrath/Balanced Stance
Charge!
Purge Conditions
Endure Pain
Healing Signet
Heal Area
Mending/Holy Veil
Not sure if you wanna run droks or just general running, but I've made lots of cash running Sanctum Cay.
I find that heal area works better than healing breeze in a pinch... My warrior only has 185 attributes, so my healing is at 9, which means healing breeze heals 7 regen... thats 140 hp over 10 seconds, while heal area has the same cast time and heals for 120 instantly... If you're in a situation where breeze is necessary, I think heal area is better, since it's not an enchantment and doesn't scream "Here, mesmer, shatter my breeze, I don't want it, really!" or "Here, scarab, chillblains me and use plague touch... I meant to get 4 degen anyway!" so the only problem left over is cast time, which is the same on both, 1 second... thats half the cast time of healing sig for about the same healing (145 health at 14 tactics)... only difference is 10 energy vs 0 energy. Finally, I prefer heal area over Healing breeze for when I get in trouble, and have to use endure pain... Healing Breeze heals less HP than Heal Area in the 14 second window that Endure Pain gives me, which I also have to use for running to augury rock.
I only use mending in 1 place... Sanctum Cay, because the staff there gives you an extra pip, and theres MAYBE one mesmer there who can remove it in the second half.
I only use holy veil in places where hex snares are extremely deadly, but really I only use it when I'm practicing drok runs.
I bring Symbol of Wrath if I can afford to lose balanced stance... which only wurms, giants and high level ice golems require that. Symbol of Wrath allows me to have a potential failsafe if something goes wrong and I get trapped in a mob. It has saved me at least 2 times in the desert from scarabs mobbing around me at a teleporter, and it also helps for hellhounds in Sancrum Cay, or getting Grasping Ghouls off if they happen to snare you, giving a chance to purge the cripple off without them spamming it back on.
Again, the skillset you should use should reflect your personal playing style, and should be unique for you. I don't find most hexes to be bothersome... so I usually don't even bother with a removal.
BTW I am fully capable of running from Ascalon all the way to all 3 desert missions, but not droks. I usually charge tips for any run, but I quit if they're not worth the time. (some ppl just don't know the meaning of the word tip (when referring to a service)).
PM Olga Ritz for a run to the desert.

i would never bring mending + veil , cuz its a waste of a slot, since u can only use one.... (no energy regen).
Akhilleus
if u really want to use something with constant HP regen, use watchful spirit; with no points into divine favor it gives 2 regen (and u cant put points into it w/ w/mo anyway).
this means you can put all of your skillpoints in other, more important, areas.
also, get rid of healing breeze and get mend AILMENT (NOT mend condition, since that can only be used on other allies).

The idea behing using both would be to casy holy veil once you GET hexed (or just before you expect to) and then removing it immeidately to scrap the hex. (it has the fastest recharge of any 1 second cast time hex removers) remove hex takes 2 seconds. Again, it all depends on your preference, I prefer quick casting/quick recharging skills over slower ones.
If you do use both at the same time for any reason, make sure to get veil off ASAP, or else you will stop the energy regen (-1 from mending is bad enough).

i personally dont bring mending, and i do drok runs, I see it as a waste of a slot if you are packing veil.
Legendary Lubbie

Sharpe_116

holy vail I recommend you develop a build that doesn't require nine skills . . .
You are definitely on the right track, and there actually are a couple of options with a W/Mo on Drok's run still. There is a really fun W/R build that can beat the hardest spawns, too. Good luck. As you know, the Academy is happy to help provided your application is accepted. I suspect someone will be glad to lend you a hand in game even before that, too.

By far the best way to learn running, but unfortunately I don't see many people offering the Drok's run for that low anymore after the nerfs.

I have taught several guild members to run droks.
The most important part of a run is timing and any runner will tell you that.
Spawns are inconsequential, timing > over all.
If you wonder what I mean about timing (When to use certain skills)
I usually run for tips so I extend the offer to you.
1 set of skills and u can run everywhere.
Warcamp, Citadel, Copperhammer, Iron mines, Grotto, Thunderhead, Desert, Sanctum Cay, etc...
Cya soon. -Ly

smitehex, mending and endure pain are useless really as you have holy veil and breeze. For droks running you dont need mend ailment but you might wanna bring it incase but mainly make sure you have balanced stance , holy veil, healing signet and breeze if you want it and of course charge and sprint then work around with the other 2/3 slots to which skills suit you

Since im a nice person, build means nothing in running really, its about how you run. You may have my ub3r sh00ber W/Mo build (Which I don't use)
Tactics= 12+1+1
Strength= 12
Charge{E}
Sprint
Balanced Stance
Endure Pain
Healing Signet
Holy Veil
Smite Hex
Purge Conditions
Oh yeah, LBS... I know about that pretty W/R build

Lou
W/R build... I need to figure that out.
Farin
Yeah, me too. Probably Dyrder's defenses, Whirling.. Something like that.
VGJustice
Or maybe extra running skills? I could see Sprint/Storm Chaser syncing rather nicely.
nine6nine
the ranger is probably a better runner with escape drydars trools dodge storm chaser and lightning reflex if things get to bad twinned with a w ud get ballanced and healing sig plus sprint monk ud get heal area and remove hex line of skills but those wumrs would be annoying

Perhaps even dropping charge as the elite, maybe for Meladru's Resilience? Hmm... then couldn't stack with balenced stance.
