how can i get a bolt of linen

i saw some crafter outside the Sardelis Sanitorium or what ever, and he needed 4 or 5 somethings i can not remember to make it. where do i get those ssomethings and what are they called again.

I've got 100's of somethings:Þ

Five Plant Fibers + 200 Gold = 1 Linen

Or for those of you in Yak's Bend and beyond...

Expert Salvage Kit + Certain Salvageable Armor = Chance of Linen, Silk, Leather Square, Steel, etc etc.

Is there a materials merchant that will sell silk? I'm at the wilds and I still haven't seen any silk?

you'll need your expert salvage kit to find silk. the last time I got any was when I was wandering in the depths of the Maguuma and I expert salvaged a spider web thingy I got from a drop. but that was during the beta.

plant fibers can be found by running the wilds a bunch of times.
