althenas ashes question

ok i finished the quest, went back and got the reward, its nice getting 2k xp all at once but my question is that i got the reward i noticed i still had the ashes in my inventory, are they supposed to stay there? what should i do with them, i tried asking people but they kept offering to buy them off of me, my guess is they think they can skip the quest by getting the ashes from me and get the reward

sooooo...do i need to keep the ashes for anything? and also should i sell them to some1 will they get the quest???

It seems to be a bug. One of my guildmates still had the ashes after he finished the quest, and my Barradin Family Urn (which I still have) never even turned into the ashes, but we both still got full credit. I've made it out to the desert without finding any use for them, so it might be worth it to trash them and reclaim your inventory space. Personally, I wouldn't give the ashes to anyone who would use them to shortcut the quest, but its really none of my business what you do with them.

This isn't an issue. I was with my guildmates doing this mission and crashed to desktop right at the end (guildmate reached the altart about 30 seconds after I crashed, apparently). He saw the ashes were still in his inventory and tried to give them to me to "shortcut" the quest, as you said, but to no avail. Had to do the darn thing all over again

ok so i dont need them anymore so i should just get rid of them, but if giving them to some1 else wont allow them to get the quest, should i try to sell them to some1 anyway, i know it would be sneaky but hey i need gold
