On "Solo" Arenas

Yes, it's been said before: there needs to be solo arenas.

But, that can't simply be it. It would be completely unfair to certain classes if there was just a one on one arena. (e.g. warriors)

I propose that the solo arena groups characters by class. There, warriors can fight other wars, mesmers other mesmers and so on.

I also propose another feature, maybe taking place in the same arena, that is similar to a 'duel'. There are sooo many people on this game talking crap that their character could beat ANYONE elses. I think it would be fun if they could challenge each other, despite which class they are, and fight it out.

I think that calls for a certain mark on the PC that would show that they lost a said duel and something that the winner could keep and show off. (similar to the Diablo ear thing.)

I would love to see it- some warrior talking a bunch about how his character is the best solo character, then coming back with half an ear. That could cause people to delete their characters, methinks. How delightful.

Umm the mods clearely say use the search button and find another thread that exists. ya there are like 500 threads already use one of them ^_^

Well, new threads regarding 1 vs 1 would means that people would very much want a 1 vs 1 arena.

Anyway there is an official thread regarding 1 vs 1, mods could merge this new thread into that old thread.

I used the keywords 'dual arena' and discover that they are quite a number of threads regarding the 1 vs 1 arena.

Perhaps a mod could merged all those threads into the official 1 vs 1 thread?

Mesmers would own Arenas.

Spitful Spirit/Spirit of Failure/Price of Failure/Shatter Enchant/ some heals, energy managment, and backfire for casters.

8/10 matches would be Paladins anyway, so you win almost all the time.

hmmmm....By the time the mes uses chillblanes the warrior can shred him apart....and that was only 2 skills....there are plenty more that would work....
