pvp runes

i just spent a small fortune on a sup air rune for my pve ele, and customized him, then got rid of it with a minor rune

then deleted my pvp ele and recreated him but the sup air rune was absent!!!!

and as is the rune i got rid of on my pve ele.

why? shouldnt this work?

No. Runes are only unlocked for PvP through PvE if you id an unindentfied item and then find the rune. Buying them of merchant or other players won't unlock them.

You only gain PvP items permanently by unlocking them, either by identifying the unid'ed rune or by unlocking them with faction.

well..crap.

that cost me a good amount of money...

to unlock it with faction, must i unlock minor air, then major THEN sup??

Unfortunately, yes. It shouldn't take too long, though, if you can spend some time in the competetive arenas gaining faction here and there.

Yea you're right, and i just figured out it was the sup fire rune i bought and actually used that cost the money, not the sup air one.
