Yes, I do mean skin dye. I just made a new monk and I DO NOT want to have ugly blue tatoos all over my body. Does anyone know how to make dye that's skin colored?

By skin I mean the first skin tone character's have in the character creation screen.

And yes, I did search. I just didn't find anything.

You didn't find anyting because, as far as my knowledge goes, nobody succeeded in making skincolored dye.

the tattoos look good in red or purple - at least on a female monk.

Looks like she has a lot of scars to me. But, still, that's pretty dang close.

I think your question was : Can you change skin color after creation? The answer, sadly, is no.

Actually I think he wants to make tats skin colored so they appear transparent.

This is what lead me to believe he wanted ORIGINAL skin tone:

As for tattoos..eh...tan is the best you can get, maybe mix a tan with a peach to get skin color..

Ahh, I see I caused a little confusion. The reason I mentioned skin at character creation was because there isn't exactly "names" for each skin color. Just a way for me to tell you what I mean.

Anyway, thanks for the replies. Sledge, that's sorta what I was looking for except A) my character isn't black/tanned and B) I'd like it to be almost totally unnoticable.

But again, thank you all.

If you put a silver dye on white skinned toon, what does it look like?

How about silver + dye remover?

Dye remover acts like paint thinner, allowing the item's base color to show through. In this case, silver & dye remover makes a light blue.

Silver on the lightest skin may produce a similar effect to what you seek, or you might want to try some of the white mixes that have been discussed. If you don't mind the blue color, you could push the faded look with dye remover & 3 silvers.

Personally, I wanted something other than the garish colors that are sported by the crop of augury farmers. The choice I have shown looks much better in game than in that screenshot. In low-res town view, it's pretty cruddy looking, but outside of town (and to me), it looks quite nice. The pattern of the tattoo is plainly visible when you look for it, but to the casual glance, it's not dominating.

Here's a slightly different picture, showing a bit more detail:

My white-skinned male monk has silver tats and it makes him look kinda dirty, as in rolling in the mud. Fairly sublime.

Sorry, no pic.
