I think it was a glitch, but.... (Bloodstone Fen Mission)

Feeling ripped off here.

I completed the Bloodstone Fen mission last night and got ZERO experience for it. I had completed the bonus earlier, but not the primary. Is this a glitch? It didn't even note that I had completed the primary, but it still says that I completed teh secondary from the night before.

No, when I started, it just had teh sword on the right that indicated the bonus was completed, but the sword on the left (indicating the primary) was missing.

I completed the mission and got the FMV and everything, ended up at Druid's pass, then when I looked, it neither credited me for the EXP I should've earned nor put the 2nd sword (the left side one) in the mission marker. I know I completed the seed part b/c I got 1000 EXP for that, but I didn't get anything for completing the primary.

I had the same thing but in reverse. I did the mission first, then went back for bonus. I got the exp for bonus , but no sword. I went back again and got the exp for bonus, but no sword, finalyl the third time i got no exp but got the sword. i dunno what happened. but i liked the extra exp for doing it for guildmates until i got the sword

It sounds like you where not credited for the mission. You'll more then likely have to redo it again.

Urgh.... oh well.
There's also a boss that I can try to cap some stuff from, so worth a shot.

1.) Are you sure you did the bonus...or got credited for it, and not the mission previously?

2.) I don't think you can cap ELITE skills till you get to the desert.

I've been in this particular situation before. Unfortunately, sometimes stuff doesn't register after you've done it, so you'll eventually have to do it again (Happened to me in Dragon's Lair... beat the mission but didn't get access to Droknar's).

And, ChoKILLate[FDG], skill caps can be any skills not just elites. (even though you are correct about the first Elites being in the desert)

I did recomplete Bloodstone, and after getting disconnected 3 times, finally round 5 I got the EXP and complete marker.

Does it matter if you take the Bonus first before mission??

2) You're wrong. You can capture skills since Lion's Arch and Magi Malaquire. =) Just look around, and on http://www.guildwiki.org or read this post here: http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86127

Enjoy.

There aren't any elites to capture until you reach the desert.

Wasn't saying there was. But you can obtain sigs before and unlock regular skills.

Make sure you read posts before you claim they're wrong. Note, his wasn't edited either.
