It suddenly dawned on me with the Random drop engine, and our ability to build items so well, if anyone had ever come across or built a copy of a Green Weapon out of a Gold or Purple.

So basically, if you have one, post it up and let us see.
Looking for
- Exact same stats, not similar.
- Same skin if possible, some items don't allow for that

You can't get an item drop with absolute perfect stats, if I recall correctly.

That's what I was thinking. I mean, somewhere there has to be a Hammer just like the Bludgeoner.

A Max damage Gold Foe Hammer with the natural mod of 15% while Enchanted
then add on the perfect fortitude and sundering mods.

i got a gold vampiric hammer (spikey version)

the stats not bad 19-35 (req 12) +14% while health above 50%, 5/-1 vampiric, +30 health.

If only it have low requirement and +15% dmg instead!

It's possible, I've seen a gold hammer with the same stats as the bludgeoner.

some of the greens are almost impossible to get gold copies of because of some more unique stats like "quick recovery from _____" which are very HARD to find.

I have a Stinger replication. Its a Gold Poisoner's Bow of Marksmanship, except it happens to be my favorite flavor, a short bow! It is very nice.... I also have the real stinger bow but I dont like it much, it fires too slowly. Feels like im in slow motion. And the range tradeoff for distance is not as good as say an ascalon bow (those things can lob an arrow like you've never seen!) Dont use the stinger much.

You can make some of those green items pretty easily, by starting with weapons at Forge or from chest drops/collector's, however, it is hard to find weapons from drops that still have a low minimum requirement of (lvl 9) like all the greens do.

I don't honestly know (not having been at every single rare item drop in the game), I think someone posted a reason why a few months back.
Once I had a rare Chaos Axe, I think req 8, with 10% Furious, +30 Health, and no damage mod. I cried.

And...so people don't think I posted this just to bitch at someone...

I personally don't understand why the hell people go with the whole "a gold item, with the same stats as a green, is worth 49,531,859,037,511,348,865,012k more than the green item." It's like..."I guess...that's ok." I mean sure there's a much greater shortage of perfect golds than there is of green items, but who cares about paying that much for a perfect gold when there's a cheap green copy of it? It's not like anyone else is going to see that you've got a perfect gold weapon, only you see it. Is it really worth the shitloads of money?

Go figure, people are strange. I just grab my green and stay happy.
