I have a ranger/mes, and would like to know if marksmanship is required ?

2 attributes i really want are expertise and wilderness survival. I also have a pet, and was wondering is it worth/needed to put points into beast mastery ? possibly a mesmer attribute, domination magic. what would be the best set up ?

I also have a R/Me, and I would say that Marksmanship is definitely important, especially if you're wanting to use some more powerful bows later on in the game that require a certain amount of Marksmanship. I'm currently level 13 and I've added many of my attribute points to Marksmanship. As for Mesmer attributes, I've spent most of my APs on Illusion Magic and Domination Magic, since I tend to use Conjure Phatasm and Chaos Storm frequently. This is just my opinion - I would say, at the beginning, just to evenly spread out your attribute points and try to get to a decent level. And hopefully as you level up you'll find out what skills require how many APs and use them as you like.

right now they are all currently spread out over wilderness survival, marksmanship, domination magic and expertise. I was thinking marksmanship, wild survival and domination at rank 11, and exp at 3-4 or something ?

sounds good to me lol. i was going down the expertise/wild survival/domination route myself but found it spread the points too thinly for my liking; am now wild/marks/exp but the mesmer skills do come in amazingly handy a lot of the time. If anything i'd say maybe drop wild by a couple of points and put those extra into exp; comes in very handy
