well,me and my guildie, used to have w/monks,b4 they nerfed aoe, then we decided to switch,we went through all classes, and mesmer were the only ones that satisfied us...

running:i know monks have remove hex,and smite hex,but bringing along hex breaker, will do the trick(i know it only stops 1 hex,but it lasts for about 60+ seconds if ur attributes are high)(my guildie ran me once, vetra grail, and it was a gay anet spawn,in which their was a huge group of ice golems and grawl, atleat 10+ ice golems,he spammed hex braeker over and over, and he still survived)and once it regens, rush back in,

fighting:many warriors have that problem,in-which the monk is blamed on for not healing, which i disagree with, cause a warrior should have stances where he could be able to heal during those seconds, spammingether feast with arcane echo and echo can satisfy the health loss,at a short amount of time and energy, and also a w/mesmer can always bring down a monk, with its interrup, and its knockdowns(mostly/all hammer).

im just wondering if a w/mesmer setup is really what it shows,or if its just uselses

I play a w/me, it's a great combination. The mesmer secondary makes the character VERY flexible. Some of the things I've used the me secondary for include: backfire during the Thirsty River mission, physical resistance when hunting wurms for bleached shells, elemental resistance and hex removal doing Defend North Kryta, the fire stance (mantra of fire i think) doing hell's precipice, the cold stance, inspired hex and shatter hex playing kegger doing SF quests, and drain/inspire enchant in 4v4 pvp.

Hopefully you can convince someone to bring condition removal to minimize the w/me susceptibility to conditions.

I use a w/me in pvp and he uses a heavy interupting build. He uses power block on the monk when he uses healing spells and black out on other chars while hes waiting for power block to recharge.

Warrior Mesmers are a very versatile class. From PVP to PVE, you can be whatever you want, dealing damage/healing/shutdowns, etc.

PVP: 5 Warrior Damage skills, Ether Feast+ whatever 2 other mes spells you want to bring = Ownage. I like backfiring/empathy on the person I'm attacking to add lots of damage if they don't have someone breakin hex.

PVE: You can effective render healers in groups of enemies useless with backfire. Then you can take out other things not worrying about the healer, because if he heals, if your attribute line is high, 100ish damage per spell really lays it on thick!

This is just my two cents.
