Charachter builder?

is there some system ou guys have downloded to build your chars? it seems that they all are in same(or similar) format and i want to know what i can make(stupid amazon didnt send a code ). or are you all making these ingame? if you have a link to a builder please post a link, or if there isnt one then id like to know more specifically how to set one up, since i want to plan out my entire charachter(even though i doubt ill use it for the whole game)
