Monk ascension?

Anyone got any tips on getting past the final quest in ascending a monk? its my first monk and i cant seem to figure out how to beat that thing.

By final quest I'm guessing you mean the mirror? Well, you have to spells he doesn't use for some reason, Healing Breeze and Retribution, so use them. =) Also, what's your secondary?

I just used smiting + 1 to mess em up.......the one = contemplation of purity.

Sure he/she smited back and I took dmg but for whatever reason it didn't use CoP to remove its enchantments for the insta-mega heal it gave.
