The axe itself is worth 5K, but the furious axe haft is worth about 40K.

I would say that someone would gamble and buy the axe for around 15K for the possibility of salvaging the furious haft.

By the way, is that a Carthan (sp) shield? Never saw one in game, so I'd love to see you wielding it if you can take a couple of screen shots.
